Fluenz has an incredible group of young, smart Spanish instructors and the colonial town of Merida is a great place to study as it was at one time one of the wealthiest cities in Latin America, making it architecturally and culturally different from others. Fluenz’s boutique hotel is right by Paseo de Montejo, a spectacular tree-lined boulevard with Spanish colonial mansions, many of which have been converted into great restaurants. The added bonus of studying in Merida is you are a short drive away from some of the best Mayan sites in all of Mexico and Central America.”
